About:
My name is Ipsita Nath. I am 14, and in Grade 10 at EuroSchool, Airoli. I am very passionate about helping others, especially those who are less privileged than I am. Personally, for me, the most important thing and probably the only thing that makes me truly happy is to make a difference in another person's life.
For girls and women from financially weak backgrounds, access to sanitary napkins is a luxury. They often resort to unhygienic alternatives, which can prove to be very hazardous. Sanitary napkins are a basic necessity for every woman. The cost of providing reusable sanitary napkins which would last approximately 2 years is only INR 250.
Through this campaign, I intend to give them a menstrual hygiene kit that is cost-effective, lasts long, and is not too bulky. The Hygiene kit consist of 2 regular shields, 6 regular liners, 1 large shield, 2 large liners, 1 Instruction manual, 1 zip lock bag and 1 drawstring bag to hold everything together. These are stitched by women from low-income homes, thus serving as a source of livelihood for them.
I request all of you to support my campaign. Let's come together and do our bit to transform lives.
