My name is Vania Sharma. I'm a student studying in 10th grade at Sishu Griha High School in Bangalore.
The current pandemic has impacted our lives in unimaginable ways. Several of us are lucky enough to have access to sanitary resources during these unprecedented times. India has recently experienced the effects of the second wave. The lesser privileged citizens are facing troublesome times. I feel indebted to give back to society in some way or the other. Hence I have taken up the campaign to fund "Suraksha boxes" for our community and hardworking underprivileged members of society.
A huge thanks to visionary Aditya Pachpande, without whom the boxes would only remain a figment of our imagination. With these boxes, citizens can disinfect their items and stay safe, which will reduce their risk of falling prey to the virus and therefore reducing the spread of COVID-19.
I have always wanted to crowdfund for a cause. Currently, helping our country emerge victorious against the fatal virus seems to be the wisest choice I could make.
With the help of our supportive society, I hope to make a change for the better. Any amount of assistance is beneficial for our people.
