My name is Kevika Ahlawat. I am 14 years old and in Grade 9 at TSRS, Aravali.

I have undertaken this campaign because I think being able to impact the lives of infants and children by funding their stay, food, education, clothes, and medical care at PALNA is incredible. PALNA (which means “cradle” as well as “nurture”) an initiative by DCCW is a home for children who are homeless and destitute.

Since I was a child, I have visited NGO's ,orphanages and schools with my aunt to help the differently abled, girl orphans and people in their old age. I have realised that helping these people inspires a greater joy than any other.During Covid-19 I could not play my part in helping the community, but now PALNA. has given me this great opportunity . I am fortunate enough to have everything I need offered to me without question, but some children are not and they too deserve a childhood . I hope you find my cause worthy and help these children out.

The cost to take care of a child at PALNA is just INR 15000 per month.


Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child’s life. It will give them confidence and a bright future. Many of them will be adopted and have a loving family.

As an individual, I am trying to raise INR 30000 or more to impact a child for 2 months or more. Let us make a difference together. If we collect more funds we could support more children at PALNA OR the same child for a longer duration.
