My name is Aaryan Choksi. I am 15 years old and in Grade 9 at the Ascend International School, Mumbai.
I was shocked to learn that that marginal and small farmers earn a meagre monthly income of around INR 3000- 5000 per month. Low productivity and poverty is a common problem for them. They struggle to make ends meet and sustain their families.
I am running this crowdfunding campaign to help these farmers across the Palghar and Marathwada districts in Maharashtra by providing them with fruit-bearing trees. The trees would be given to farmers who have 1 to 2 acres of land yet struggle with low yield and productivity. Through this, the income levels are expected to rise 10-20 times. This would be transformational and their lives would change dramatically.
Planting a single fruit-bearing tree costs INR 25.
Just INR 12,500 will help transform the life of one farmer. Let’s all come together and do our bit.
