About:
I am Fr George Kannanthanam. I am the Director of Sumanahalli Society. We care for the leprosy affected since 45 years.
As Director, I am responsible to provide for all my 80 inmates with leprosy, medical, food and care. Also take care of the other rehabilitation programs for them like education, housing, aids and appliances. We have to ensure salary for about 60 of them, involved in this work. I need about a million rupees to run Sumanahalli. Any development is additional to this. This entire amount is raised from generous people like you.
Please support my campaign as we can together support many patients and change their lives for the better. We need Rs. 5000 for an inmate for a month. You may contribute this or multiples of it. Or any amount you can spare. My target is to raise funds for about 50 inmates for a month through this campaign, a total of 250,000 rupees .
Our inmates are thrown out from their family and habitat. Let us make them comfortable in this re-created Family for them - Sumanahalli, meaning "village of people of good heart".
