My name is Gaurika Lekhwal. I am 15 years old and in Grade 11 at DPS Greater Noida.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think it is important to impact the life of a child who is not as fortunate as I am. Many of the parents are unable to pay to educate their children and would rather have them earn money. The fact that the school provides two meals with a creche, education uniforms, etc for free makes it impossible for parents NOT to send their children here. This allows these not-so-fortunate kids to experience school life. They are often the first ones to be educated in their entire family.
The cost of educating them is just INR 2500 per month and includes food, uniform education books/stationery, etc. Educating a child here holds the promise of them getting a job once they grow up. This will help them get their family out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child's life.
