My name is Shriya Venkatesan. I’m 14-years old, and studying in the 9th grade in Aditya Birla World Academy.
The crowdfunding campaign for the Happy School Project stood out to me. As someone who grew up with the opportunity to get an incredible education, I value my school everyday. Seeing the conditions of the school, it upset me to see that students have to study there. School is supposed to be your second home, and I had that. I’m interested in this project because I hope the students enrolled in this school can have that as well. A pleasant learning environment is essential for students, and I hope to make an impact at this school and in these students’ lives.
