My name is Rishi. I am 14 years-old and a Form 9 student at The Pupil International School, Chennai. Crowdfunding is a term I have come across in the past but I never bothered inquiring into the topic or researching about it due to the jargon of the term. Making money without any investment of your resources but only your skills definitely shocked me. I am an enthusiastic and adventurous learner so I am looking forward to understand the science behind crowdfunding and definitely also embellish my social image and profile. My main goal in the field of crowdfunding is to raise a sufficient amount of money to help various NGO's which take care of abandoned, injured and sick animals. The maltreatment of animals is something that disturbed me a lot and it is also something which is quite prevalent. We should coexist with nature rather than abusing what is given to us. If we cant even respect other species and organism then what kind of people are. The abuse of animals has left me with the notion that humans are brutes who do not even have a little bit of empathy for animals. This notion was formed through my personal experience and as well as various scenarios I came across.
With this golden opportunity to learn crowdfunding, I hope I can use my skills for a good cause with my personal desire to achieve an endeavour of saving and fostering a safe world for the millions of stray animals.
