My name is Charuhasini. I am 13-years-old and a Grade 8 student at The Pupil Saveetha Eco School, Chennai.

I live with my family in Chennai my Father's name is Goutham he is doing his own business, my mother's name is Swathi she is a house wife and I have a 8year old sister. My mother tongue is Telegu. I really like helping and want to do something to the community. My hobbies are reading books, doing crafts listening to music etc..... I love travelling that I travel frequently, few of the places I visited Kanyakumari, Kerala, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Munnar, Manali, Delhi, Agra, Coimbatore, Ooty, and many more places. I love Black, Red and Yellow but Black the most. My school is one of the best schools I am very proud to be in such a school, my school supports me a lot I have been in the school for nearly 10 years. I love nature and growing plants I have a small flower garden beside my house.

I was shocked to learn that for preterm babies the first 28 days are very crucial for their survival. If not properly cared for, these babies will not survive. The Kangaroo Mother Care technique is critical for the survival of these babies. The KMC sling bag is unique and it makes it easy for the parent/ caretaker to provide effective skin-to-skin care.

The cost of counselling, training the parents, monitoring, and giving them two KMC bags is just INR 2500. This will help save a life.
