My name is Snishka. I am 14-years-old and a Grade 9 student at The JPIS (Jayshree Periwal International School), Jaipur.

Envision going to school, studying for long periods of time, and playing in the heat on an empty stomach. Isn't that disturbing? For most of us, avoiding one meal a day would be challenging. We wouldn't be able to carry on as usual for the rest of the day. We are privileged to get the luxury of eating three meals per day, which keeps us fit and healthy both mentally and physically.

Many children in our country, nevertheless, do not have this luxury. The joy they feel from getting just one meal a day is indescribable. Imagine that I could bring that joy to many children! Through this campaign, I have the chance of seeing many children's dreams come true. I was also stunned to discover that 232 meals (for a year) cost hardly INR 1500. So, if you donate INR 4500, you can provide mid-day meals for three children for an entire year.

Consider supporting my campaign and let's all work together to make these children happy. The "Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal programme" not only encourages students to attend school, but also guarantees that they maintain health and keep up their studies.

It may appear to us as "just one meal," but it's far more than just that to them. There is also the pleasure we feel when we support or encourage this programme.
