About:
My name is Mehul Sundrani. I am 13 years-old and a Grade 9 student at the Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon.
I just adore playing cricket and take a lot of interest in sports, but when I come to think about it, hat there lakhs of students across our nation who are underprivileged and don't get opportunities like we do, and it hurts me.
Proper nutrition plays a significant role in cognitive development. Since they are not provided with proper food and nutrition, neither are they able to concentrate on their academics nor are they able to show their talent in sports or any other extra-curricular activities. I feel proud that I am able to provide children a square meal, which will benefit them in the not too distant future.
Donating will help distribute mid-day meals to students and provide them with a fair opportunity to study and do something successful in life. It will also attract more attendance to school as food is being provided which means students would want to come to school and study. I really want to do something for them, so that we can discover new talents and maybe just maybe someday these small steps to help those children could lead to big results in their lives and they might make our country's head rise with pride.
