My name is Shwetha Sumanth and I'm a student in class 9, studing in DPS Bangalore North.
I've joined this campaign as I heard about the pitiful plight of students in Karnataka.
Students have to walk long distances to reach school while wearing broken, or often no, slippers. They are also forces to carry their books in hand causing severe pain all throughout the day and making it hard for them to focus on studies. They are then made to sit on a cold, hard floor for 7-8 hours. This causes neck pains and struggles in writing.
The Greensole kits that we provide to these students come equipped with shoes, book-bags and placemats. All of these items are blessing to these children.
I decided to joint this campaign as the betterment of a students always betters the education of that student.
The kits cost 900 INR, which in current day is quite cheap I'd belive.
