My name is AYUSH BHARDWAJ. I am 15 years old and a Grade 11 student at DPS, R K Puram.
I am running this crowdfunding campaign to transform a small school in Shakur Basti, New Delhi.
I was very surprised and shocked to see the images of the current school and wondered how children are able to study in such an environment. Making the school and classrooms bright, cheerful, safe and providing them with hygienic wash rooms etc is a very basic requirement.
Through this campaign, my fellow friends and I, aim to transform this school so that 40-plus children who come here, learn in a better environment and look forward to coming to the school. This will help the students reach their potential and leverage their education to build a career and life for themselves.
