Hi, I am Aditi, a 14-year-old and a Grade 10 student studying at EuroSchool, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
At Makkala Dhama girls who are as old as I am, have no one to look after them. Makkala Dhama is transforming the lives of these girls by providing them with proper accommodation, food, clothing, medical care, stationery, books and most importantly a safe and secure environment that will not let their dreams and aspirations be extinguished by adversity. They also attend nearby schools.
The cost to impact a girl's life for six months takes just INR 20000. The shelter home will provide all the necessary facilities that will help them become responsible and independent adults. This campaign would give them hope and comfort to rekindle the flame of ambition in these young hearts.
I am a firm believer of unity. Every donation, every gesture of kindness, becomes a stepping stone towards rebuilding lives. Together, we can bring a change, proving that even in the midst of challenges, kindness and empathy will ultimately triumph and to do this please support my campaign.
