Hi, I am Gitanjali & I study in the 3rd year at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. I love reading, listening to music and watching movies. I am a part of the NGO Blooming Beacon and its our aim and objective to plan and execute social initiatives that can make the world a better place.
My friends and classmates from the SRM college have together decided that we will do a crowdfunding campaign that would raise awareness about the needs of women & young girls when it comes to the need, use and practices of using Sanitary pads. Its imperative that in today's day and age that such a basic need for young girls and women amongst the economically weaker section is met.
I'm raising 10000 INR through this campaign and these funds will be used to impact approximately 40 girls and women by providing them with low cost sanitary pads for a entire year. YES FOR A ENTIRE YEAR. All it takes is INR 250 to change a life. Fund INR 1000 and you impact 4 girls/women.
