My name is Naisha. I am 12 years-old and a Grade 8 student at JBCN Intl School, Oshiwara.
It was shocking to learn that many low-income students in Maharashtra are facing a lack of proper school supplies such as footwear and a school bag, resulting in long hours of sitting on hard ground without any support. This can lead to various health issues such as posture problems, eye strain, and lack of concentration. Additionally, the absence of proper footwear may also lead to foot-related diseases.
For a mere INR 900, we can make a difference in the lives of these students by providing them with a back-to-school kit that includes recycled footwear, a study mat, and a recycled school bag for their books. This will not only improve their overall health but also increase their attendance and grades.
