My name is Gia Nakai I am nearly 13 years-old and a Grade Eight student at JBCN International School, Oshiwara.

Along with a few friends, I have founded an Outreach Club, because I wanted to help people. This was another opportunity to do so, and so I have decided to undergo this campaign because it was heartbreaking, to say the least, to learn about these children who go to school and cannot afford to have basic school equipment like the correct shoes and school bag and don't even get the chance to sit on a cushioned surface.

Having to sit on the ground could seriously impact these kids health and posture, and they could develop permanent issues if this continues for too long. That's why, when the owner of Fuel a Dream gave us this chance to help underprivileged children by working with an NGO, I was more than ready to jump at the chance. 

The kit is affordable (only ₹900) and can give these students a pair of recycled footwear to protect their feet, a recycled mat so that they can sit comfortably at school and at home, and a recycled school bag for books so that they can keep them in good condition and protect them. Since each kit costs ₹900, funding ₹3,000, for example, can change the lives of four pupils.
