My name is Sharanya. I am 12 years old and a Grade 7 student at JBCN Intl School, Oshiwara.
I have embarked on this campaign because I was shocked to find that many youngsters from low-income houses in Maharashtra who attend school (mostly govt schools) lack basic school supplies like appropriate footwear or a book bag and frequently sit on the hard ground to learn in class.
Nine out of ten students will experience posture-related issues if they spend a lot of time sitting on the ground. Additionally, it indirectly affects their vision, concentration, and academic performance. Lack of footwear also contributes to illnesses and health problems involving the feet.
We will provide the students with a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study pad to sit comfortably at school or at home, and a great recycled school bag in a back-to-school kit for just INR 900. Funding INR 2700 can transform the lives of three students!
