About:
My name is Ananya Shah. I am 14 -years-old and in Grade 9 at the Jamnabai Narsee School (JNS), Mumbai.
This campaign of mine aims to help with the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need.
It could be a leopard fallen down a well, a bird entangled in manja on a 100 ft tree, a cat stuck on a 6th-floor building ledge, hundreds of baby birds that have come crashing down from man-made disasters like unregulated tree felling, or puppies stuck in a flood – these animals need our help to survive. We often do not care about animals the way we care about ourselves. This results in them suffering silently.
I was delighted to learn that the NGO RESQ works tirelessly to help animals in need. The NGO is authorised by the Government of Maharashtra to conduct state-wide wildlife rescue in collaboration with the Maharashtra Forest Department.
It costs just INR 3000 to help an animal. Please support my campaign and let us together help save animals.
