About:
My name is Navya Gupta. I am 15 years old and in Grade 10 at the Mount Litera School International (MLSI), BKC, Mumbai.
I chose to participate in this workshop because I'm always happy to learn about new things, particularly when those things can transform someone's life. I am eager to expand my knowledge about crowdfunding as a means for social change, and believe that the drive to help women earn sustainable livelihoods is a noble endeavor which will not only help these women but spread awareness about this lesser-known issue across India.
I have always believed that as a generation living in an age of AI and technology that makes the wildest dreams come true, it is our responsibility to make sure that the benefits of technology are utilized to solve this world's problems. Inequality is prevalent around the world today, and equality is only achievable when we all stand up against it in our own way and encourage others to do their part. Using the understanding I will gain about technology and the role it plays in crowdfunding as well as the idea of social change at its very core, I am confident that I will be able to take part in the workshop and create a positive social impact to able these women towards earning through management of a campaign.
