My name is Aarav Singh. I am 12-years-old and a Grade 7A student at Podar International School, Powai, Mumbai.
When I found out that thousands of kids from low income families in Maharashtra go to school and sit on the wooden rock-hard floors for 9-10 hours, They go to school without proper foot wear, Without a school bag, I was shocked. I knew what had to be done and I knew that they need helping. We together can do this!
Greensole has developed a back to school kit for them that includes a study mat, a school bag, and footwear made out of upcycled material from textile and shoes ! The kit costs 900 INR and together we can fund this campaign.
Think about what you have and what they have. If you go out of your way and donate a little money, you can help change and shape a little bright mind!
