My name is Vanya Bhateja. I am 13 years-old and a Grade 8th student at DPS Gurgaon, Sector 45.
I am taking the initiative of this campaign because I was distressed to know that children from low class families that go to government schools do not even have proper supplies like a proper footwear, school bag and a proper place to sit.
To sit on the floor for a long time can lead to posture issues and not having a proper footwear can lead to infections through which most children are not able to attend school regularly.
The back-to-school kit costs just INR 900 and provides the children with a study mat so that the students can comfortably sit and study, a school bag made by recycling and foot ware made of recycled material. For example, by putting in an amount of 3600 you are helping 4 kids.
Please support my campaign and let us together impact the health, attendance, and grades of these children. This kit also provides a big smile on the children’s faces along with the supplies. Let us stand together to help these children.
