My name is Dhruv Ralli. I am 14 years-old and a Grade 9 student at the DPS Gurgaon, Sector 45.

I have undertaken this campaign because I think it is important to impact the life of a child. Many of the parents are unable to pay to educate their children and would rather have them earn money. The fact that the school provides two meals with education uniforms and other facilities for free makes it impossible for parents NOT to send their children here. This allows these not-so-fortunate kids to experience school life. They are often the first ones to be educated in their entire family which helps them and their family to grow out of poverty as education is one of the most important assets a human being can have.

The cost of educating them is just INR 2500 per month and includes food, uniform education books/stationery, etc. Educating a child here holds the promise of getting a job once they grow up. This will help them get their family out of the vicious cycle of poverty. This helps the children and their families to get out of poverty and live their life to the fullest.
