I am Advit Agarwal, a 14-year-old Grade 9 student at DPS Gurgaon, Sector 45. I am launching a campaign in collaboration with Samarpan Foundation, an NGO that impacts the lives of poor children and families in the Kishangarh slum of Delhi.

I am undertaking this campaign because I believe in the profound impact that education can have on a child's life. Education is a luxury for them. Many parents in today's community face significant financial challenges and often have to prioritize immediate earnings over long-term education for their children. This is where our school steps in to make a difference. By providing two meals a day, uniforms, and educational materials at no cost, we make it almost impossible for parents to resist sending their children to school. This initiative allows these less fortunate kids to experience the joys and benefits of school life, often making them the first in their families to receive an education.

The cost of educating one child is just INR 2500 per month, covering food, uniforms, education, books, and stationery. Supporting a child's education here doesn't just promise them knowledge; it offers them a brighter future and the opportunity to secure a job when they grow up. This, in turn, helps lift their entire family out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
