About:
My name is Inika. I am 14 years old and a Grade 9 student at Pathways School Gurgaon.
I have undertaken this campaign because I believe it is imperative to make an impact in a child's life. Many parents are unable to afford to educate their children and would much rather have them earning money. The fact that the Samarpan school in the Kishangarh (an urban village in New Delhi) provides two meals, in addition to education, books, uniforms etc. for free makes it impossible for parents NOT to send their children here. This allows these not-so-fortunate kids to experience school life. They are often the first generation to be educated in their entire family.
The cost of educating them is just ₹2500 per month and includes food, uniform, education books/stationery, etc. Educating a child here holds the promise of getting them a job once they grow up. This will help them get their family out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child's life.
Even the smallest donation you make could mean the difference between a life of poverty or an education for these children
