About:
My name is Aarav Marwaha. I am 13 years old and a Grade 9 student at the Pathways School, Gurgaon.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think it is important to impact the life of a child. Many of the parents are unable to pay to educate their children and would rather have them earn money. The fact that the Samarpan school in the Kishangarh urban village in New Delhi provides two meals with education, books, uniforms etc for free makes it impossible for parents NOT to send their children here. This allows these not-so-fortunate kids to experience school life. They are often the first ones to be educated in their entire family.
The cost of educating them is just INR 2500 per month and includes food, uniform education books/stationery, etc. Educating a child here holds the promise of getting a job once they grow up. This will help them get their family out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
I have always had a passion for graphic design, photography and videography and I felt that I would truly be able to put these skills into use for the betterment of society, that’s why I was incredibly inclined to participate in this program since it really resonated with me and I truly wanted to make a difference for others!
Please fund my campaign as a simple act of kindness on your part can have a profound impact on a child's life.
