My name is Toshan Bahl. I am 12-years old and in Grade 7 at Pathways School Gurgaon.
I started this campaign after learning, to my astonishment, that many Haryana's disadvantaged children attend government schools and lack basic supplies like a school bag and proper shoes, and frequently study on hard floors.

Without a school bag, many children face issues like losing their books, items kept in the bag can also be damaged. If children do not have proper shoes, and must walk to school every day, this can lead to many issues, which can distract students from learning. Sitting on hard floors for long periods can also lead to posture issues, back aches, puts strain on joints etc. Additionally, it indirectly affects their eyesight, focus, and academic performance. Health problems and foot-related illnesses are also brought on by inadequate footwear.

For a little amount of INR 950, children can purchase a recycled school bag to hold their books, a recycled study pad for comfortable sitting at school, and a pair of recycled shoes. This is incredibly little to affect a student’s life. For instance, donating INR 2850 can impact the lives of three children.

I sincerely request you to assist me in my campaign so that we all can improve these students' health, attendance, and academic performance together. This kit will also give the students a lot of confidence and will also make them very excited and will make them look forward to learning in school and make their lives easier and happier.
