About:
My name is Reet Sinha. I am 13 years old and a Grade 9 student at Pathways School, Gurgaon.
I am undertaking this campaign because I believe making a positive difference in a child's life is crucial. Many parents are unable to afford education for their children and often prefer to have them contribute to the household income instead. However, the Samarpan School in the Kishangarh urban village in New Delhi offers a unique opportunity by providing two meals a day along with education, books, and uniforms at no cost. This makes it almost impossible for parents to refuse to send their children to school, enabling these underprivileged kids to experience the joys and benefits of education. Often, these children are the first in their families to attend school.
The cost of educating a child at Samarpan School is just INR 2500 per month, which covers food, uniforms, education, books, and stationery. Supporting a child's education here holds the promise of future employment, which can help lift their families out of the cycle of poverty.
I kindly request your support for my campaign. A small act of kindness from you can have a big impact on a child's life. Together, we can help provide these children with the education and opportunities they deserve.
