Hi, I am Bidipto Das , a student of Class 10th of DPS, Bangalore North. I rediscover myself through drama , cooking , interacting with others , basically anything creative. The reason I indulging in this to be exposed to the outside world but also that the lust for doing good to the worId has summoned me lately. I am running this campaign in favour of one of my senior , who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Already bored by now ? Go glup some water and you'll be alright. But what if a person lacks the ability to stand on one's feet and grab that water. Yes , you got me right ! DMD is a congenital malady which leads to the degeneration of muscles making them feeble and turning their bones brittle. As of now there hasn't been a cure for DMD. Neverthelessly , it doesn't stop karan from losing faith on medicine. Karan is a benevolent 17 year old who has achieved innumerable laurels to our school. Karan's parents could afford the suitable therapies which would palliate the symptoms. But what about those who dwell in villages that are hardly know to mankind ? They would remain naive due to the lack of facilities and information around. And even if they come across the treatments , it would be way above their heads due to their exorbitant pricing. Here are DPSBN in partnership with "Fuel A Dream" and "Dystrophy Annihilation Research Trust" are trying to raise funds for those who can't afford it.
