My name is Tejas . I am 16-years old and a Grade XI student at the Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, Chennai.
I have chosen to do this campaign because I like giving back to society especially the rural part of our society.When I heard about how many children do not have basic access to footwear, proper items necessary for school and not even a chair to sit on,I was in disbelief.I truly believe I will be able to make a major difference for rural children in Tamil Nadu by undertaking this campaign. I look forward to raising a substantial amount of money to provide for the needy.
If u too want to join me in making people’s life better all it takes is 950 rupees for one back to school kit which consists of pair of footwear so children don’t have to walk barefoot everyday to school, a study mat to make them comfortable at their school where they sit for prolonged periods of time and last but not least a school bag which is essential for a student.All these are recycled and will make a major impact in improving these children’s life.
