Hi. My name is Ila Manish. I'm studying in 11th grade at NPS HSR. My objective is to provide FREE sanitary napkins to underprivileged girls and women and impact their health and hygiene. The funds collected will also be used to conduct workshops aiming to educate them about menstrual hygiene. By supporting my cause, you are helping me provide the necessary menstrual products and education on the same (through workshops) to girls & women who otherwise would not be able to afford it. You will be giving them a chance to understand the changes taking place in their body and how to handle these changes safely. The menstrual cycle is often seen as a stigma on women, making them "unclean". This impacts the mental health of young girls. The workshops aim to change this view and give girls the confidence to discuss this topic and the problems they face. This education will also have an impact on their families and future generations Helping one person may not change the world but it will change the world in the eyes of that one person. Only when a girl understands her body will she be able to accept herself and live life with confidence and dignity. So I urge you to give your support. A simple act of kindness can have a profound impact on someone else's life and with your help, I can truly make a difference. After all, no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
