About:
My name is Sairrah. I am 11 years old and a Grade 6 student at Mahindra International School, Pune.
This campaign of mine aims to help with the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals in distress.
It could be a leopard fallen down a well, a monkey blinded by a cruel attack, or an injured elephant – these animals need our help to survive. We often do not care about animals the way we care about ourselves. This results in them suffering silently without a voice to express their thoughts. We usually get what we want by making tantrums, or just letting people know what we really want, not even need.
I was delighted to learn that the NGO RESQ works tirelessly to help animals in need. Thousands of wild animals come to RESQ annually who are either injured, sick, orphaned, or victims of wildlife trafficking and illegal captivity. The NGO is authorised by the Government of Maharashtra to conduct state-wide wildlife rescue in collaboration with the Maharashtra Forest Department.
I am really enthusiastic about saving lives, they deserve to live as much as us, even more, so I will work towards that goal, but on the way, I need support. Be generous, be the one to build another life and please do fund my campaign.
"Saving one animal won’t change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal."
