Our names are Agastya & Chae. We are 14 (Agastya) & 15 (Chae) years old and Grade 8 students at Mahindra International School, Pune.
This campaign of ours aims to help with the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals in distress.
It could be a leopard that has fallen into a well, a monkey blinded by a cruel attack, or an injured elephant – these animals need our help to survive. People often do not care about animals the way they care about themselves, which results in these creatures suffering silently.
We were delighted to learn that the NGO RESQ works tirelessly to help animals in need. Every year, thousands of wild animals come to RESQ, either injured, sick, orphaned, or victims of wildlife trafficking and illegal captivity. The NGO is authorized by the Government of Maharashtra to conduct state-wide wildlife rescues in collaboration with the Maharashtra Forest Department.
It costs just INR 3,000 to help an animal. For example, if you fund INR 6,000, you help two animals. Please support our campaign, and together, we can help save many animals.
