Hi, I am Kshiti of Class 10th at the DPS East, Bengaluru.
I love reading books, music and watching movies. As a part of this I also love see smiles all around me. This brings me down to topic of why I want to campaign for this programme. Last year we had been taken to an orphanage to interact with the kids over there who were infected with AIDS. After the interaction course seeing the kids smile made me feel happy .That made think if a classful of smiling kids make me happy then a country full of smiling kids shall make me even happier.
The fact that a contribution of just Rs 10000 can make a difference to the life of someone who is suffering from a cleft lip issue, made me realise that I must do something to help others I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives.
Similar cleft surgeries in hospitals cost anything from INR 30000 to 50000.
