Hi, I am Ambika Menon of Class 10J at the DPS East, Bengaluru.
There are have been day's in my life where I'm grateful for the things I have. One out of those many things is my health. When I recently attended the fueladream workshop conducted in my school, I realized that not many people get to feel that way. Although I wish to help many people all around the world suffering from different illnesses I can't. When I was offered the oppurtunity to help kids suffering from cleft lip issues I was more than delighted.
The fact that a contribution of just Rs 10000 can make a difference to the life of someone who is suffering from a cleft lip issue, made me realise that I must do something to help others I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives.
Similar cleft surgeries in hospitals cost anything from INR 30000 to 50000.
