My name is SHWETA KATRE and I am a corporate professional turned entrepreneur. I spent the last 4.5 years working at Indiabulls in marketing, and recently forayed into entrepreneurship by launching a sports brand for children along with my partners called QiDDO. This is my first crowdfunding campaign and I am excited to be able to be a part of such an initiative. Education is and always will be very important in building a strong foundation in one’s life. This is especially true in terms of looking at our future generation. We want our youth to be educated, to be up to date with current issues, and able to provide knowledge to the next generation. I strongly feel it is an important building block in building a stronger and healthier community. With a population of over a billion people, our country has one of the youngest populations! There is no dearth of talent and intelligence in our rural towns and villages; just a lack of access and means. Raising INR 78,000 (for 12 months of studies) and 1.56 L (for 24 months) can change the lives of these young aspirants who come from rural backgrounds with families that do not have the financial means to support a higher education for them. This will not only impact them individually but also their community as they will become agents of change. Our villages are the bedrock of our nation and a stronger rural community is what will make us a powerhouse in the days and years to come.
