Hi all, I study in 9th grade at Deens Academy, Bengaluru. I have always been someone who’s wanted to help the people around me. My passions include: reading, writing and singing.
Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine. A few days ago, our school had a program where the team from Fuel a dream told us about how crowdfunding works and how we can use that to make life better for others by raising funds. Contribution towards funds can make a difference to the life of someone who is suffering from mental disability and this made me realise that I must do something to help others and I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives.
We see people with mental disabilities all around and mostly express pity on the their state without realising that they have potential too. I was introduced to how the team at Sambhav Foundation is working and training these people so that they can cope with day-to-day activities and bring them into mainstream life.I too got the inspiration from this and finally started my campaign!
