Hi, I am Kritika Agarwal. I study in the 11th grade at Deens Academy, Bengaluru. I have always been someone who’s wanted to help the people around me. My passions include: reading, writing, music etc.
Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine. A few days ago, our school had a program where the team from Fueladream.com told us about how crowdfunding works and how we can use that to make life better for others by raising funds. The fact that some voluntary contribution can make a difference to the life of someone who is suffering from a mental disability, made me realise that I must do something to help others I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives making them inclusive in our society.
We see people with mental disabilities all around and mostly express pity on the their state without realising that they have potential too. I was introduced to how the team at Sambhav Foundation is working and training these people so that they can cope with day-to-day activities and bring them into mainstream life. This foundation has a unique teaching methodology.I strongly believe that with our tiny efforts we can truly help our country develope and become a better place to live in.
