Hey, I'm Avinash Rao and I study in the 11th grade at Deens Academy, Bengaluru. My passions include: playing football, drumming and reading. I am someone who has always wanted to help those around me, and I think this campaign, in collaboration with Fueladream.com and Sambhav Foundation, is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine. A few days ago, our school had a program where the team from Fueladream.com taught us how crowdfunding works and how we can use it to make an impact on other's lives by raising funds. The fact that a contribution of just Rs 5000 can make a difference to the life of someone who is suffering from a mental disability, made me realize that I must do whatever I can to help those who are needy, and hopefully, in the process, transform their lives.

We see people with mental disabilities all the time and all we do is simply express pity on their state without realizing that they have potential too and that they too deserve normal human lives. I was introduced to the team at Sambhav Foundation and was fascinated by the way they train these people and teach them basic and day-to-day skills, to help them cope with daily activities and bring them into mainstream life.
