My name is Smriti Poovannan and I am studying in grade 11 at the Primus school in Bangalore. My hobbies include listening to music, writing and baking.
I recently grew aware that DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy), a terminal inherited disorder, affects over 5 laksh boys just in India. When Fueladream approached us with the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the underprivileged children who suffer from this, I was bound to taking it and aiding those in need.
The fact that an amount of just INR 20000 can fund a boy's treatment for an entire year made me realize that people such as you and I can help make a difference in a child's life.
