My name is Tanisha Nandakumar and I study in class 10 in Primus Public School. I recently learned about
a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This majorly affects boys, and is fatal. 5 lakh boys
today have DMD and organisations like Dystrophy Annihilation Research Trust (DART) are working towards finding a cure. Bringing about awareness and
raising funds to assist the underprivileged suffering from this disease. 20,000 INR is sufficient to fund one boys
treatment for a whole year.
I strongly believe that we can help children suffering from DMD and make a difference in their lives.
