Hi, I am Aaryan Chawla of Class 11 at the Bombay Scottish School at Mahim. Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine.

Our school had a program where we met representatives from Fueladream.com who told us about a crowdfunding program which is going to help those with amputations walk again. They taught us what crowdfunding was and how we could use it for the good. I knew about Kickstarter and crowdfunding and how people have used it to start businesses. What I learned was that crowdfunding could be used for social causes too.

In my campaign, I will try to raise money to provide prosthetic limbs to financially poor people who have lost their limbs in accidents and are now liabilities to their families.

Together, we can make this change & actually help someone get back on their feet. The fact that a contribution of just Rs. 10000 can transform the life of someone, made me realize that I must do something to help. I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives. Please support my campaign and let us together bring mobility and freedom back into the lives of these people and please spread this cause.

These prosthetics will be given out in the very poor areas of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. We keep hearing about this area because of droughts. This will help men, women, young and the elderly. It will have a ripple effect on their families. A lot of these poor villagers will also be able to work and this will help them immensely. Helping others is something that is close to my heart.
