Hi, I am Janya Gugnani of Class 11C at the Bombay Scottish School at Mahim. Let me tell you more about this campaign of mine.

Our school had organised a program where we met representatives from Fueladream.com who told us about a crowdfunding program, which is going to help those with amputations walk again. The idea of crowdfunding fascinated me to no extent. The thought that so many people could come together and contribute money for such good causes really helped me see people in a new light. I could not have even imagined what it must be like for those people who live without a limb. But, the idea of crowdfunding made me that I can make a change.

Together, we can make this change and actually help someone get back on their feet,practically save a life. The fact that a contribution of just Rs. 10000 can transform the life of someone, made me realise that I must do something to help. I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives. Please support my campaign and let us together bring mobility and freedom back into the lives of these people and please spread this cause.

These prosthetics will be given out in the very poor areas of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. We keep hearing about this area because of droughts. This will help men, women, young and the elderly. It will have a ripple effect on their families. A lot of these poor villagers will also be able to work and this will help them immensely. You'll not only be helping the needy but touching their hearts with your gesture. Helping people is something very close to my heart, I hope you can share the same joy too.
