My name is Eesha Dedhia and I am in Grade 11 at the Jamnabai Narsee International School at Vile Parle (W), Mumbai. My hobbies are badminton, art and dancing.
I have undertaken this campaign because it gives me the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and work towards multidimensional collaborative change. I am able to empower, advocate, motivate, connect, and encourage resilience. To challenge stereotypes and avoid fallacies. As well as fight discrimination, oppression and injustice, no matter the form. I get to be a voice for all who cannot advocate for themselves.
The children that I would like to support and give a scholarship to are doing very well at school. They are doing well at school despite adverse economic circumstances and conditions at home. Many of them have parents who are daily wage labourers, house help and need our assistance. The fact that raising 20000 INR can support a child for two entire years is something that I am very excited about. I could also raise for example 50000 INR and support the same child for 5 years. That would be amazing.
Getting a good education will definitely transform their lives and the lives of their families. Many of their parents cannot even read and write. Imagine how much education will impact them. Please support my campaign and let us together bring light into the lives of these fellow students. Making this world a better place one person at a time, is worth it.
