My name is NANDANA JONEJA and I am in Grade 11 at the Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Delhi.
I have undertaken this campaign because I think wearing footwear is something that is a basic need for anyone. I cannot imagine me walking kilometres to school barefoot every day. These children who are being supported in the remote district of UP are doing well at school despite adverse circumstances and conditions. The fact that raising 20000 INR or more can give footwear & transform the lives of 100 children or more is something that I am very excited about.
Please support my campaign and let us together bring confidence and change into the lives of these fellow students from rural areas in the remote and very backward district of Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh. Summer heat here goes up to 48C - its terrible that these kids need to still walk to school barefoot in such weather conditions.
Please fund this campaign. You can also share it on social media as that will be a big help.
