About:
Hi, I am Afifa in Grade 9 at the Deens Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
There was an interesting program held at our school, the representatives of this program taught us about crowdfunding and and told us about a program which is going to help those with amputations walk again.
This program made me think about the lives of the people without a limb and motivated me to help them and contribute towards the cause.The fact that a contribution of just Rs.11,000 can transform the life of someone, made me realise that I must do something to help.
I strongly believe that if we all work together to change even one persons life then that one person would would be able to earn his own bread and feed his family, and in the future this person will also be motivated to change another persons life. this cycle will continue and maybe one day we can even eradicate poverty and spread smiles all over the world.
This campaign will help me build awareness about the cause and teach me the concept of planning.I enjoy doing social work, it gives me happiness and joy to make people smile.I see this campaign as a great opportunity to help these poor villagers start a new life with a new smile.
