Hi, I am Kanishk Banerjee in Grade 11-A at the Deens Academy, Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Our school had an interesting program where we met representatives from Fueladream.com who told us about a crowdfunding program which is going to help those with amputations walk again. The first thing that struck me was how big an effect a small group of people can make through crowd funding. I found it fascinating.

It was also difficult for me to imagine how people live their life without a limb. The fact that they will be seen a different way, to have to live their life at a disadvantage. Having a disability has a big impact on person's life. The luxuries and lifestyle we have is something we take for granted. But, the idea of crowdfunding made me think that I can make a change.Together, we can make this change & actually help someone get back on their feet.

The fact that a contribution of just INR 11000 can transform the life of someone, made me realise that I must do something to help. I strongly believe that we can help those who are needy and in the process, transform their lives. Please support my campaign and let us together bring mobility and freedom back into the lives of these people and please spread this cause.

These prosthetics will be given out in a few districts of Karnataka. This will help men, women, the young and the elderly. It will have a ripple effect on their families. A lot of these poor villagers will also be able to work and this will help them immensely. Helping others is something that is close to my heart. Many thanks for your support.
