About:
Hello, I am Nakul Kurva, a student from Mallya Aditi International School studying in 10th grade.
I can safely say that this opportunity that has presented itself to me is an excellent one. The simple fact that I can help a child's life for the better is a temptation I cannot resist. Being a child myself I can empathise with these kids but cannot bear to see them throw their lives away scavenging for scraps and barely getting by. so i would like them to get a chance and an equal opportunity in their life too.
The school of BGMS takes such children in and gives them food and more importantly a place to call home. Most importantly, they receive a thorough English education which is becoming more and more vital in today’s world. Children’s whose families are so economically weak that they unfortunately cannot take care of them, are taken in by this institution. These children are moulded in this institution until twelfth standard. giving them a solid foundation to pursue careers that can break them free from the cycle of poverty and become independent themselves.
When I found out that it took INR 20,000 for a full school year inclusive of food and dormitories, I was taken aback. For just this much of money we can change an entire year for a child and help to further secure their future. This is an instance where the phrase ‘The more the merrier’ can be used as the more money that we collect, the more good we can do for these children. So I urge you to embrace this opportunity to literally change someone’s life for the better.
