Hi, I am Anagha Murugan from Grade IX at Vidyaniketan School, Bangalore. I got to know about crowdfunding recently and how it could help underprivileged children.
I have always been interested in helping the poorer sections of the society. So, when I heard about the concept of crowdfunding, I jumped at the prospect of raising funds for a noble cause. I strongly believe that having a full meal a day is something that is a basic need for anyone, especially children. I have chosen a campaign to support children who are denied this basic need of a meal a day. These children who are being supported are studying in Government schools in Bangalore and outskirts of the city. The fact that raising 22000 INR or more can give a mid-day meal for 20 children for a whole year is something that I am very excited about.
Please support my campaign and let us together bring confidence and change into the lives of these fellow students from rural areas. Most of them are school drop outs since they don't get to eat anything the whole day and fall sick. Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal program motivates students to go to school, remain healthy and continue their education with a big smile.
