My name is Shlok Shah and I am in Grade 9 at Vidya niketan school .

In my family my grandfather has set a tradition to distribute chocolates to the poor children for our birthdays. The joy and excitement on their faces to recieve a chocolate made me want to do more. I got an opportunity to make a bigger impact through this campaign. Me and everyone around me take three square meals for granted. However there are children who do not get even one decent meal a day.
Thus I took up this campaign to raise funds to provide children in government schools one meal for a year through the Akshayapatra foundation . I believe that having a full meal a day is something that is a basic need for anyone. I can never imagine not eating 3 or 4 times a day. The fact that raising 22000 INR or more can give a mid-day meal for 20 children for a whole year is something that I am very excited about.

Please support my campaign and let us together bring confidence and change into the lives of these fellow students from rural areas. Most of them drop out of school because they don't get to eat anything the whole day and fall sick. Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal program motivates students to go to school, remain healthy and continue with their education with a big smile.
